The Short Version

DebtFlow never asks for your SSN, bank account numbers, or any sensitive personal identifiers. We don't connect to your bank or pull any financial data automatically. You're always in control of what you share, and we never sell your data. Period.

No Sensitive Personal Information Required

We never ask for your Social Security Number (SSN), bank account numbers, or routing numbers.
DebtFlow does not connect to your bank — we never pull data from financial institutions.
You only enter what you choose to share: debt names, balances, and payment amounts.
Your financial picture stays in your hands, not ours.

Encryption & Secure Access

All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption — the same security banks use.
Your password is hashed with industry-standard bcrypt. We can never see or recover it.
Sessions are secured with signed tokens that expire automatically.

Your Data Stays Yours

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties.
Your information is used solely to power your DebtFlow experience.
We do not display ads or use your data for advertising purposes.

AI Coaching Privacy

Conversations with your AI Freedom Coach are not stored permanently or used to train AI models.
AI advice is generated in real-time based on your current data and discarded after delivery.
Your financial data is processed securely and never shared with external AI providers for training.

Partner Sharing Controls

Only people you explicitly invite can see your shared financial data.
Either partner can revoke access at any time with a single click.
Partner invitations require email confirmation before any data is shared.

Payment Security

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.
We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment details.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the secure billing portal.

Account Control & Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page.
When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently removed from our systems.
This includes debts, bills, income, preferences, emergency fund entries, and partner connections.

Infrastructure & Reliability

Your data is hosted on secure, professionally managed cloud infrastructure.
We use encrypted database connections and follow security best practices.
Regular backups protect against data loss.
